Natural Dog Food and Pet Supplies in Chattanooga
Slobberbones is a neighborhood pet store in East Brainerd for dog owners who read the label. We carry natural, raw and holistic dog food, treats, toys and everyday supplies. Every product on our shelves has passed one test: would we feed it to our own dogs? If the answer is no, we don't carry it.
Natural, Raw and Holistic Dog Food
We stock dog food for real-life dogs: picky eaters, sensitive stomachs, big appetites and puppies still growing into their paws. You'll find natural kibble, frozen and freeze-dried raw, and holistic formulas from brands we've vetted ourselves, including Fromm, Open Farm, A Pup Above, Orijen, Raw Dynamic and Home Range.
Not sure where to start? Bring in your dog's current food and we'll help you compare ingredient lists. For a quick primer, read What Is the 95% Rule in Dog Food?
The Raw Bar
The Raw Bar is our in-store assortment of bones, chews and natural treats. It's the first stop for dogs who need something to work on and owners who want to know exactly what they're handing over.
Treats, Chews and Fresh-Baked Goodies
Besides packaged treats and chews, we bake fresh treats right here in the shop. See what's in the case on our Dog Bakery page, or plan a party with a custom dog birthday cake.
Toys, Gear and Everyday Supplies
- Toys for chewers, fetchers and the dogs who destroy everything in five minutes
- Leashes, collars and harnesses
- Grooming tools, shampoos and coat care
- Bowls, beds and everyday basics
Cat Food and Supplies, Too
Dogs get most of the attention here, but cat owners are welcome. We carry food, treats, toys and supplies for cats, chosen with the same care.
How We Choose What We Carry
A product earns shelf space only if we'd use it with our own pets. We check where it's made, its recall history and whether the packaging oversells it. We ask our regulars how it works for their dogs, and we look for local and small-batch makers whenever we can.
